-           Greet and farewell each other in Te Reo Maori
-           Pronounce Maori vowels correctly

Vocab and Sentence Structures:                             
Tena koe – hello to one person
Tena korua – hello to two people
Tena koutou – hello to more than one
Kia ora – Hi!   
Morena or Ata marie – good morning
Haere ra – goodbye to those leaving
E noho ra – goodbye to those leaving
Ka kite ano – see you again
Ahiahi marie – good afternoon
Po marie – good evening

Ko wai to ingoa?  What is you name?
Ko wai au?  Who are you?

Room 1 students have been set the task of learning their mihi in Te Reo Maori. because we have some very talented students who can speak other languages as well, they have also learnt a mini in their own language. Some of these are as follows...
